About Skye

Skye Alexandra Sweetnam, born May 5, 1988 in Bolton, Ontario, CANADA is an American and Canadian Pop Artist with a punk twist. Skye attended Allan Drive Middle School in Bolton, Ontario, CANADA and was named after the Scottish Isle of Skye.

Her TV debut was on Friday, June 20, 2003 on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and was the opening act for Britney Spears. Her musical styles derive from her listening to Enya, The Cranberries, Genesis, as well as many songs from musicals such as Cats and Les Miserables as she grew up. However, she loves all music styles ranging from Coldplay to Outkast, horror film scores to The Distillers, Led Zeppelin to No Doubt, and Pantera to Mozart.

Her parents are Deidre and Greg and has two siblings, Aurora and Cameron. Her hobbies include: singing, dancing, acting, making films, snowboarding, painting her nails and "personalizing" clothes.
